A Note from Your EWC Board...

Friends--

It is with deep regret that we report the resignation of Katie Sherrod as editor of Ruach, a position she has filled with intelligence, dedication and integrity. Her growing professional and and family responsibilities, to say nothing of her continuing steadfast advocacy for women in a difficult venue, however, have made it impossible for her to continue.

The good news is that Katie will continue to write her warm essays and her thoughtful, hard-hitting editorials. Two of these appear in this issue--and there will be more to come in the future.

We'll miss you, Katie. May God bless you for all you have done and are doing for justice and equality, in the church and in the wider community.
